Helena Půlpánová
Helena Pulpanova
Graduated from the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague where she studied under the guide of the composer Štepán Rak with whom she later performed as well. During her studies she has participated in several contests by playing guitar. She has performed as a chamber or soloist player in foreign countries, mainly Italy at the Venice Carnival and in France during the celebration of the Anniversary of the French National Bank. She has worked with many famous performers such as Alfréd Strejcek, Miroslav Hornícek, Josef Sommer, Tatjana Medvecká, Boris Rossner and Radovan Lukavský. She has been a soloist performer at the concerts of Chamber Orchestra of Václav Talich, Orchestra FOK and a State Opera singer Zora Jehlicková

She has recorded many pieces for the Czech Radio, cooperated with the Czech TV and the Academy of Performing Arts and appeared in the american movie Chasing Liberty / American Princess (2004), directed by Andy Cadiff.

Jana Češpivová
Jana Cespivova


Graduated from the Prague Conservatory, majoring in flute. After her studies she cooperated with the National Theater Orchestra and with the Orchestra of the Music Theater in Karlín. She participated in several contests, winning among other recognitions the prize for best performance of a composition from a Czech author. She has also participated in the seminars of old music in Kromeríž and Valtice. She was a member of chamber association of soloists Lyra da camera which focused on the music of the 17th and 18th century. She has taught fl ute in the school of children‘s choir Bambini di Praga.

Her successfull performances include ones in Denmark, Estonia, Switzerland, Germany and Luxemburg. Since 1993 she has been a member of the group Linha Singers, recording several CDs. She is also devoting her time to teaching.
